Our Projects

Who We Are

Future Focus Development (FFD) is a Kenyan indigenous Development, Training, Research and Consultancy organization. FFD is registered by the Government of Kenya’s NGO Coordination Board as a Faith Based not-for-profit making Organization. FFD started its operations on voluntary basis by training women groups, church groups and youth in the villages in the year 2006.

FFD was registered by the Government of Kenya in 2007 thereby becoming a legal entity. Our offices are located in Naivasha town of Kenya, in the Rift Valley Province, some 100km north of capital: Nairobi.

Our Services

INSTITUTIONAL CAPACITY DEVELOPMENT

  • Community mobilization, Common Interest Group formation and Sustainable group management
  • Carrying out Institutional Capacity building or Organization Development {OD} to our clients
  • Leadership and good corporate governance
  • Policy Development manuals for producer organization/cooperatives e.g. Financial, Product Quality, Human Resource, board management, Strategic plans.

AGRICULTURAL TECHNICAL CAPACITY

  • Training Needs assessment {TNA}

  • Development of Agricultural Technical training Modules and Manuals

  • Implementation of projects and farm demonstration with FFD partners

  • Promote adoption of Technology Innovation and Management Practices {TIMPS}

  • Training farmers on Climate-Smart Livestock and Crop Production

  • Value addition and market linkages

  • Promote Quantity, Quality and Consistent {QQC} Agricultural production.
  • Mainstreaming key aspects of Millennium Development Goals {MDGs} e.g., Food security, gender, Clean water and sanitation, poverty, hunger & Gender}

FINANCIAL CAPACITY

  • Assist community groups on mobilization of local resources

  • Assist communities on proposal development for funding

  • Training on financial literacy and development of a  saving culture

  • Linking producer groups to SMEs, MFIs and Banks
